The World Macedonian Congress – Australia (WMC-A) is an international, non-governmental, non-party affiliated, not for profit organisation and a Diplomatic Arm of the Macedonian people from all parts of Macedonia and throughout the world.
World Macedonian Congress – Australia liaises and assists with all Macedonians interests, and one of these is in improving the conditions and health standards within Macedonia. WMC-A Branch Director of Womens’ Affairs (NSW & ACT), Liz Bogdanovski is involved with a project liaising with the Directors and Managment at Bitola Hospital with assistance for some long overdue renovations.

‘AFTER’ Kitchen Renovation
World Macedonian Congress – Australia recently held a successful International Women’s Day event, with all profits going to the hospital, mainly concentrating on refurbishments for the Children’s Ward. WMC-A Branch Director Liz Bogdanovski stated, “The renovations are long overdue, peeling paint, cracked tiles and mould are a health issue in themselves and the financial support for renovations is necessary for patient care, especially for the sick children.”
Liz has been invited to tour the Bitola hospital with the Directors and staff during the Macedonian summer break and is keen to include painting and repairing the entire hospital, with the hope of raising more money to successfully complete the project in the next few months. The Hospital’s directors will be inviting the media for the World Macedonian Congress -Australia tour and will open its’ doors for all to see the new renovations and improvements.
“The entire project will be ongoing as we want to help as many hospitals as we can in Macedonia. The project is managed by the WMC-A and me, personally, I deal with all contractors, from the start until the job is complete. Anyone interested in donating toward the project, please contact WMC Australia for further information”, said Liz.
